This page blog is all about my daughter Emma and her illness, which has yet to be determined. Born May 22 of 2007, in the short 4 months that she’s been with us, at least 2 of those months she has been having seizures. We have medicated her with phenobarbital, which has stopped the seizures. I started this blog to keep track of her progress and as a way to keep friends and family up-to-date.
UPDATE 1/17/2008
Emma has been diagnosed with Infantile Spasms (IS). Currently her seizures are controlled with Topamax and Vigabatrin. She is still on Phenobarbital and Keppra, but is currently being weaned off of them.
